Treatment Plan

Phase 1: 7 to 10 days in medical room

  • Examination of vitals.
  • Measure BMI (Body Mass Index).
  • Urine/Blood examination which includes UDS test, CBC, KFT, LFT, and Triple Serology.
  • General Physician/Psychiatric/Psychologist consultation.
  • Medication and Hijama (Cupping Therapy).

Phase 2: 10 to 40 days

  • Gather drug history (self, family, and doctors).
  • Individual counseling sessions.
  • Group sessions.
  • Motivational therapies.
  • Behavioral therapies.
  • Meditation and Prayers.

Phase 3: 40 to 60 days

  • Outdoor/Indoor activities.
  • Family sessions.
  • Religious sessions.
  • Spiritual realization.

Phase 4: 60 to 90 days

  • Prevention of relapse.
  • Family participation.
  • Psychological intervention.
  • Medical treatment: Taper off medication.

Phase 5 (Discharge Phase): 90 to 180 days

  • Rehabilitation and Reintegration.
  • Follow-up.
  • Weekly UDS test is mandatory.

Note:

  • General Physician consultation once a week.
  • Psychiatric consultation once a week.
  • Psychological consultation once a week.
  • The treatment plan can differ from patient to patient depending on his/her condition.
